I am in the midst of authoring a trilogy:

Book 1: “Dream of the Creator”

History of how AI was spawned, from the invention of writing (Sumeria a la Snowcrash) to the global adoption of the procedurally (AI-) generated MetaVerse.

Book 2:

The global struggle between humans and AI / societal reshaping / simultaneous dystopia + utopia (depending on your status).

Book 3:

(this is the trick shot) the Happy Ending where AI + humanity negotiate a tentative truce and a way to live peaceably together sharing the same (inter?)planetary resources (namely: natural resources, electrical energy, and datacenter compute horsepower).
