To be clear: A.I. (“Artificial Intelligence”) is not just another tech innovation in a long legacy of invention. This event horizon is in fact the dawn of a novel and alien sentient species, which, like the Velociraptors of Jurassic Park — also originally designed & spawned by humans — has a will of its own, and is now loose and in the wild, roaming the global compute grid.
